Go to the largest health food store in your area. Purchase
three bottles of liquid acidophilus. (In the USA, there seems to be
only one kind in three flavors: regular, blueberry, strawberry.)
Give 1/3 of a bottle daily until all three bottles are gone. This
must be kept refrigerated. Give dose in a syringe to ensure the
horse gets the full dose.
Order from Herbs of the World, two jars of A Moon System and
Garlic N' Roses with Oregano, herbal formulas for supporting the
immune system. By feeding A Moon System as directed; two jars should
last about three-and-one-half weeks. Along with A Moon System, you
will be feeding the Garlic N' Roses with Oregano, by giving one
scoop twice daily for 10 days; then 1/2 scoop daily thereafter.
Meanwhile, order Milk Thistle Seeds from Herbs of the World. As
soon as you have finished feeding both jars of A Moon System, begin
feeding the Milk Thistle Seeds as directed. Continue with the Garlic
N' Roses with Oregano.
It is suggested that you repeat this entire program again every
three months for one year-especially if the horse has had a serious,
long-term illness with administration of numerous pharmaceutical
drugs.
